Casona Sforza is one of the most peaceful places we’ve ever stayed. It’s quiet, calm, and beautifully designed, everything about it encourages you to slow down and relax. The food was excellent, the staff was kind and attentive, and the whole vibe made it really easy to unwind. There was some construction happening next door during our stay, and our room wasn’t ready right away when we arrived, and the road in is a bit bumpy, and yes you are a bit further from town, but it was not a big deal. The team handled everything with care, and it didn’t take away from the experience at all. We saw a few bad reviews before booking, but honestly, they seem pretty overblown. If you’re looking for a cheaper or livelier place, you should probably stay somewhere else. But if you want a quiet, beautiful escape, with a great menu to match, we can’t recommend this place enough. We’re already talking about when we can come back.

Absolutely amazing experience at Casona Sforza! We went right after our wedding and stayed for 4 days, it was the perfect amount of privacy while still allowing us to go out into the city if we wanted to. I was Whatsapping the hotel the whole time to coordinate taxis, anything I needed, and they helped me find a laundry service to pick up my clothes so I’m shocked to see any negative reviews about service! The pool was amazing, massages on the beach were fantastic. Most of all the FOOD! Usually I want to explore a he town for food but I ended up cancelling a dinner reservation in town to opt for another night of the dinner at the hotel! Breakfast was so yummy and the attention to detail with all of the homemade bread, coffee from local farm, and gorgeous ceramics were great

The best place to stay in Puerto! I don't remember anything that will make me think about not returning, the rooms are exceptional ( ask for the second floor for the view) The Cheff doesn't know how talented he is, he has elevated traditional dishes to a higher level!
Amazing hotel. This is 5 star luxury without doubt. The rooms, service, atmosphere and general quality of all aspects including food and drink. Very unlikely that I visit the same hotel twice but I certainly will be returning. The only negative is the road out of the hotel onto the highway is pretty rough. An ATV is needed or taxis. But in all honesty, you don’t need to leave the hotel. Everything was perfect.
This place was suggested by our friend Julie z. (Who is a chef by the way so her review is very legit) we tried it the year before but got refused because we had our kid with us… (Adult only) the road to get there is absolutely horrible but dont let this fool you.. once you get there, it is absolutely gorgeous. The food is beyond delicious and the venu and staff was amazing… It is a lot more expensive then what you usually pay for a meal in Puerto in general but totally worth it… make sure you get there before sunset if you can and grab a drink to check it out on the beach.
Such a beautiful, peaceful escape in Puerto Escondido. We purchased a day pass to use the resort and although it was a splurge, it was well worth it. The beach and pool are beautiful, with few people around. We had a private sauna/cold plunge session and massages on the beach. Lastly, all the food was incredible and our day pass came with food credits that covered our meals all day. It truly was the perfect day at Casona Sforza!
